Much of the history of Mexico has been preserved in it’s pyramids.  My paintings in this series are intended to capture the flavor of Mexico’s  Dynamic history, to honor the cultures, the people, and their achievements. 
Using my impressions of murals, drawings and structures of the  pyramids, I offer my interpretations with their colors,  textures, and  glimpses of ancient calligraphy  and drawings . Instead of painting realistic images, I prefer to present a sense of the essence of these historic treasures, in a new and exciting way.
