These smaller works are about timeless symbols presented in a contemporary style. Highly textured, with muted color, the symbol is the main emphasis in this series.
All cultures use similar symbols or shapes in their arts, crafts, or illustrations. It has always fascinated me that these very ones are passed down from ancient civilizations all around the world, and I wondered whether the meanings for them are the same in the various cultures.

I prefer to let each viewer interpret these symbols in their own minds eye.
